Online Class Notes

  • You will receive a link via email 30 minutes before class begins

  • All zoom classes are 45 minutes. It’s OK to arrive late or leave early as needed

  • Be sure to mute your microphone. We prefer your camera on but it’s your choice 

  • All enrollees (regardless of live attendance) will receive a recording of the instructor executing the class within 24 hours after class finishes. The links are live for 6 days. 

  • You may sign up for a class with no intentions of the attending live because you wish to use the recording on your own schedule. The links are live for 6 days. 

  • Before your first class, I recommend you set up early and test your speakers.

  • Each class description has equipment suggestions. Do not worry about what you don’t have. You can still do the class without all the equipment. If you need ideas on where to buy equipment, email julie@zoyoga.com

Barre Fusion Zoom

Barre Fusion Zoom

Description: Ballet-inspired movements, yoga, and traditional sculpting exercises

 

Benefits: Strengthen and tone the body, improve cardiovascular fitness, and increase flexibility.

 

Suggested equipment: mat, 2 sets of weights (2-5lbs recommended), vertical barre or something else for balance, a squeezable ball, padding for knees

Description: Ballet-inspired movements, yoga, and traditional sculpting exercises

 

Benefits: Strengthen and tone the body and increase flexibility.

 

Suggested equipment: weights, vertical barre/chair, squeezable ball, mat, stretchy band

Yoga Groove Zoom

Yoga Groove Zoom

Description: A yoga sculpt class set to music. Flow from one pose to the next or pulse within a single pose to the beat. Yoga for people that want to move!

 

Benefits: Enjoy all the metabolism-boosting and strength training advantages of a workout class with all the mental and emotional focus of a yoga class.

 

Recommended equipment: mat, 2 sets of weights (3 and 5 lbs. recommended), long stretchy band

Circuit Training Zoom

Description: Muscular endurance training with a variety of combination cardio and strength moves

 

Benefits: Build muscle and burn calories.

 

Suggested equipment: mat, 2 sets of weights (5-8lb. recommended), padding for knees

Strength Cardio & Core In Person

Strength, Cardio & Core Zoom

Description: Movement against resistance with alternating emphasis on cardio and core. No choreography but plan to move to the beat. 

 

Benefits: Enjoy easier performance of daily activities requiring strength and agility. 

 

Suggested equipment: mat, two sets of weights (5lb. and 8lb. recommended)

Yoga Slow Flow Zoom

Yoga Slow Flow Zoom

Description: Flowing movement and smooth transitions and longer stretches. No high to low planks in this class.

 

Benefits: Work through your body aches and busy mind. This movement will promote joint health, flexibility, circulation, and mental focus.

 

Suggested equipment: mat, block(s), strap

Drum Fitness Zoom

Description: A mix of strength training exercises, cardio, barre, Pilates, yoga, and drumming.

 

Benefits: Boost brain cells, relive stress and get stronger

 

Suggested equipment: mat, a set of drumsticks or some long-handled spoons, set of weights (5 lb. recommended), padding for knees

Yoga Flow & Roll Zoom

Yoga Flow & Roll Zoom

Description: A dynamic and static range-of-motion series of poses and exercises.

 

Benefits: Reduce pain, correct posture, and improve performance. loosen bound muscle fibers, improve the health of facia, and increase mobility, circulation, and hydration to body tissues.

Required equipment: 2 rolling balls, ideally in a pouch. The Tune-Up therapy balls are the best and you can buy those at tuneupfitness.com or on Amazon. If you need a short-term alternative, try two tennis balls.
