I use my Google calendar to plan my day. I type in my tasks that I want to complete in between the scheduled activities. Today I color-coded the active tasks one color and the inactive tasks another color. And then I made a point to arrange them throughout the day so that I was alternating active with inactive. This way I wouldn't be sitting at my desk for too long.
