In their own words
"Julie's classes are consistently excellent and exactly what I need. Her moves and routines are creative, but most importantly, they are always effective. I've learned so much and continue to improve my strength and fitness." — JMa
"The 4-2-1 challenge helped me stay on track with my fitness during winter. I really enjoyed the variety of classes and the ability to utilize the recordings to participate on my own time. This challenge helped me become more well-rounded in my workout routine." — JMo
What I'm improving for next time
I asked for honest feedback, and I got it. Here's what participants shared — and what I'm doing with it:
Music energy — One participant noted that the music is usually spot on but there was one class with music that wasn't motivating enough. Music matters, and I'll be more intentional about energy level going forward.
Tracking — For participants not pursuing the full nine-block goal, it wasn't always clear how to log completions. I'll offer a clearer tracking option for that group next time.
Cardio volume — One participant felt there was too much cardio for her preference. I'm always listening to feedback like this as I continue to refine programming.
Understanding the block structure — A few participants weren't sure whether they needed to complete a block within a specific week. I'll make the rules clearer upfront so no one is second-guessing mid-challenge.
Two resources participants most want added to a future challenge: an exercise list and an equipment list posted with each recording (not just strength classes). Will do!
The 4-2-1 Challenge was one of my favorite programs to run, and the results tell me it was worth doing.
If you're curious about what it looks like to join ZYF for a structured, flexible, and genuinely effective fitness challenge — I'd love to have you in the one we are starting right now.
